Short Site Visit (11/25/2005)

Hi All,
Hey guess what? I think I know where I am going and have finished all of my exams. On Monday I found that my site is a private Lutheran school in the mountains. Assuming I passed the oral exam I will be going to Machame which is a half an hour daladala ride from Moshi. Apparently I will replace a PCV and living in a house that
A) has a great view of Kilamanjaro
B) Has an incredible view of the valley
C) Has electricity and easy access to water (but not running water)

So even though I will not have the tough life of living without electricity or being far from a city and other western amenities. Which is of course the life I was wanting to try. I will not complain about living in a comfortable house in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I will swear in on Tuesday and go to Dar for a few days before heading to site. Last week and up until Dar will be a whirlwind of events so I postpone until Dar the usual long email.
